Launching as part of London Craft Week 2021, Leach 101 is a delayed celebration of the 100-year anniversary of the internationally acclaimed Leach Pottery, St Ives, presenting the Leach Studio Team of today.

Founded in 1920 by Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada in St Ives, Cornwall, the Leach Pottery is among the most respected and influential potteries in the world. Over the last hundred years it has forged the shape of Studio Pottery in the UK and beyond. The current studio team, led by lead potter Roelof Uys, carry forward this precious legacy while adding their own voices to its philosophies and teachings.

This collection was created by the Leach Pottery Studio team during 2020 and 2021, the pottery's 100th and 100st years.

Presenting individual works by the five members of the studio team alongside the current version of the Leach Pottery's collaborative Standard Ware tableware range, the work independently and collectively represents who they are.
