About Claudio Lorenzo Quintela
"Drawing on biomorphism, characterised by the use of curves and organic forms that evoke the appearance of living beings, I wanted to create a figure that engages our subconscious, forging connections with our childhood memories and linking the natural, the artistic, and the playful."
 
Claudio Lorenzo Quintela is an award-winning sculptor and print-maker based in Spain. Claudio graduated in Painting and Engraving from the UPV (University of Valencia) in 1980, completed a course at the Druckwerkstatt in Berlin in 1987 and established a relationship with ceramics and sculpture in the workshops of the KulturEtxea in Basauri, Bizkaia (2017-24). Her work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Spain.
