About the Artist
CommonObjects was founded in 2017 by London-based ceramic designer Sarah Cranke.
 
Her work focuses on practical pieces inspired by architecture, graphic design and minimalism. Most of the work is wheel thrown, using a base of black or white clay, upon which Sarah layers natural glazes which are mixed by hand at the studio. 
 
Her designs are underpinned by function and simplicity, to be enjoyed everyday.
