EBBE is a series of porcelain bowls where the pattern is caused by gentle water movements. Its natural process of making creates a unique pattern on each bowl. The inside surface is glazed transparent, the outside is unglazed and finely polished. EBBE is the German word for low tide.
 
All of Anna's work is dishwasher safe, microwave resistant and oven safe up to 280oC.
 
 
About Anna Badur
Anna Badur is an award-winning designer based in Berlin. Her work is driven by an experimental approach and a passion for materials.
 
Her 'Tide' collection is a series of porcelain vases, cups and carafes with a unique wave pattern on each item. The aqueous decor is applied onto the hand cast vases in an experimental process. The archetypal shape and the pure white porcelain provide a clear framework for the natural pattern.
 
Anna graduated with a Master degree from Design Academy Eindhoven, department for Contextual Design, in 2012. Her work has gone on to be exhibited and sold all over the world and can be found in the collections of Nordenfjeldske Kunstindustrimuseum (National Museum of Dekorative Arts and Design), Norway and Ceramics Museum Bürgel, Germany.
