Her work combines the traditional Japanese craft of Nerikomi (a decorative process by layering coloured clay and then slicing through to create patterns) with British contemporary ceramics. She applies colour and pattern with the intention of giving it space to breath around a three-dimensional form. This collection of objects represents a playful and fresh approach to contemporary classic ceramic design.
